These pets are unable to respond and return because they
have accidentally entered a vehicle or object that has moved and is now in another area outside their home territory.
We have had cats in the repair man's van and one boarded a mobile home before it was moved three states away. This
scenario is very rare however, when it does occur the most likely situation encountered is the pet owners car
is stolen from a public place and the dog is in the car. Eventually most of these dogs will show up out on the streets
as they exit the vehicle or are turned loose.
This scenario is very rare for a missing dog.
